Author Guidelines

Medical – Clinical – Research (MCR) welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute significantly to the fields of medicine and clinical research. To ensure a smooth and efficient review and publication process, authors are requested to follow the guidelines below.

Article Types Accepted

We accept the following manuscript types: Original Research Articles, Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses, Case Reports and Case Series, Clinical Trials, Short Communications, Letters to the Editor, Editorials and Commentaries.

Manuscript Preparation

Structure of Original Articles

  1. Title Page

    • Title of the manuscript

    • Full names of all authors and affiliations

    • Corresponding author’s email and phone

    • Word count and number of figures/tables

  2. Abstract (250–300 words)

    • Structured: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion

    • Include 4–6 keywords

  3. Main Text

    • Introduction

    • Methods (with ethical approval if applicable)

    • Results

    • Discussion

    • Conclusion

  4. Acknowledgments (if any)

  5. Conflicts of Interest

  6. Funding Disclosure

  7. References

  8. Tables and Figures (with legends, placed at the end of the document or as separate files)

Ethical Considerations

  • Research involving human or animal participants must include a statement of ethical approval from an institutional review board (IRB).

  • Informed consent must be obtained from all participants and documented where applicable.

  • Authors must adhere to the ethical standards of the ICMJE and COPE.

Plagiarism and Originality

  • Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • All manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using standard detection tools.

Peer Review Process

  • All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.

  • Reviewers are selected based on expertise and availability.

  • The editorial decision (accept, revise, or reject) will be communicated within 4–6 weeks.

  • Submit manuscripts via email: editor@mcrjournal.info.

  • Or through the online submission system.

Publication Charges

  • As an open-access journal, MCR charges an article processing fee upon acceptance.
    The fee is 899 $.
    Waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low-resource settings.

Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright.

  • All published articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use with proper citation.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
